Best Shopping Trip Ever!

We're having an ice cream sundae party at work tonight, and I get to go shopping. What could be more fun than going into the grocery store and having a shopping spree with someone else's money, buying things like chocolate syrup, caramel, bananas, strawberries, and giant tubs of ice cream?

I'm so excited!

Like Christmas in March

...oh wait. My birthday is in March. Let's just call it a belated birthday gift.

I got two boxes in the mail today from my stepmother. She sent all sorts of childhood treasures, including copies of my high school newspapers, programs from plays I was in, dinky ceramics I had painted in various classes, and every family video from 1988 until high school graduation in 1996.

What a wonderful gift.

Home Alone!

Scott got a call just before noon today telling him that he had to be at a class that starts at 1:30. Nothing like advance notice, eh? The class is tomorrow as well. This has lead to me having an unexpected weekend with the house to myself.

Time to break out the tear-jerkers! What'll it be? Old Yeller? Life is Beautiful? Titanic? So many choices... and only two days to enjoy them!
